Steel Beam Installation to Impact Traffic Overnight
(NEW) - Columbus Crossroads crews will work all week, weather permitting, to install steel beams on the largest and longest bridge on the I-71/670 Columbus Crossroads Project during overnight hours.
Here’s how the work will impact you:
TUESDAY, February 19 – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21
Beginning at 8 p.m., the ramp from I-670 east to I-71 north will close. Traffic will be detoured to Leonard Ave. to I-670 west to I-71 north.
Beginning at 9 p.m., I-71 north will be reduced to one lane through the zone.
I-670 east will be reduced to one lane from Cleveland Ave. to St. Clair.
At 10 p.m., there will be no access to I-71 north. Traffic will be detoured to I-670 east to Leonard Ave.to I-670 west to I-71 north.
By 5 a.m., all ramps will be open and two lanes will be maintained on I-670 east and I-71 north.
