The Public Hearing was held on June 28, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Lima Senior High School. Open House from 5:00 to 6:00 with a formal presentation beginning at 6:00 p.m.
”Detailed design plans for the Preferred Alternative have been developed to the Stage 1 level (approx. 35% complete). Stage 1 plans were submitted on May 28, 2010 to ODOT for review. Currently, Preliminary Right of Way plans and Stage 2 design plans are under way as part of Step
9. Final Right of Way plans (Step 10) will follow soon and then the property Acquisition process will begin. Stage 3 design (Step 11) and Final Plans (Step 12) will then commence. Acquisition could begin by December, 2010 in the Reservoir Road and Fourth Street areas. Other sections of the project will see acquisitions begin after April 1, 2011 or beyond.”
A public meeting was held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Lima Senior High School (Commons Area) 1 Spartan Way, Lima, OH 45801, to present and discuss the recommended preferred alternative. The meeting was held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. An announcement of the meeting can be viewed here

The Allen 75 project currently is in Step 7 of the ODOT Major Project Development Process.
A Recommended Preferred Alternative
has been identified for the Allen 75 Study. The Recommended Preferred Alternative is Alternative A. Alternative A is a four-lane alternative that upgrades the existing I-75 mainline and interchanges to current interstate design standards. The recommended preferred alternative includes the following interchange improvement: Breese Road Rehabilitation; SR 65 Rehabilitation; Fourth Street Rehabilitation; SR 309 Compressed Diamond; and SR 81 Diamond.
