Storm Water Management Plan and Annual Reports

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) was granted coverage by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) on March 19, 2003 under NPDES Permit No.  OHQ000001, Authorization for Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems to Discharge Storm Water under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, to protect water quality  and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 6111
and the Clean Water Act. In January 2009, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) issued NPDES OHQ00002, which represents the second generation MS4 permit. This Annual Report documents ODOT’s Storm Water Management Program activities completed in 2010 and the proposed activities for 2011. This report has been developed to fulfill the following
requirements of Section IV-C (Reports) of NPDES Permit No. OHQ000002
