The National Highway System (NHS) is a network of strategic highways which include Interstates and other roads important to the nation's economy, defense, and mobility. The NHS was developed by the Federal Department of Transportation in cooperation with the states, local officials, and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs).

The data depicted in the links below represent the current NHS system effective July 2019. Any proposed changes to the NHS system must be approved by The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) prior to inclusion in the official ODOT file.
