Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge Work project
update
Hamilton County (Thursday,
Nov. 15, 2018) - The Interstate 275 repaving and bridge work
project requires the following restrictions and traffic pattern shift:
- Lane closures on east I-275 from just before the
Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge to Four Mile Road between 7 a.m.
and 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.
- Various lane closures on east I-275 from the Kentucky
side of the Combs Hehl bridge to U.S. 52 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Saturday. In addition, exit Nos. 71 (U.S. 52/East Kellogg Avenue) and 72
(U.S. 52/West Kellogg Avenue), and the ramp from Kellogg Avenue to east
I-275 will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The detour uses Exit 69
(Five Mile Road) to west I-275. The contraflow lane will remain open.
- Currently, traffic entering Ohio from Kentucky shifts
to the left or inside lanes until Four Mile Road. Beginning Saturday
afternoon, traffic will be on the left or inside lanes from 0.5
miles before the Combs Hehl bridge in Kentucky to U.S. 52 in Ohio.
This pattern will remain in place for the duration of this project.
The
following restrictions are in place for trucks entering Ohio from
Kentucky:
- 10’ wide
- 75’ overall length
- Weight restriction of 120,000 lbs.

Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
