Interstate 71 bridge deck replacement project
update
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 20, 2017) - In order to switch traffic to its
original configuration on the Interstate 71 bridge deck replacement project,
the following restrictions will be in place this weekend:
Various lane closures
on north and southbound I-71 just north of the Lytle Tunnel each night from 9
p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21.
In addition, the Second
Street entrance ramp to northbound I-71 will be closed from midnight Friday
until 3 a.m. Saturday.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
