Interstate 71 Repaving Projects Update
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018) - The Interstate 71 repaving
projects require the following additional restrictions:
- Various single lane closures on Liberty Street between
Sycamore Street and Reading Road nightly from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. the
following day, Wednesday, Sept. 12 through Saturday morning, Sept. 15.
- Various lane closures on north I-71 from the Lytle
Tunnel to Reading Road nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day,
Wednesday, Sept. 12 through Sunday morning, Sept. 16. The north lane
closures will begin two hours after the conclusion of the Bengals game on
Thursday and the lane closure on
Sunday will be complete by 10 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
