 Major Projects and Studies

 
  • Allen 75 Reconstruction
    The reconstruction of Interstate 75 from the Auglaize County line to just north of SR81 in Allen County and through the City of Lima (2012-2015). Also includes a safety upgrade to SR117/309 on the east side of Lima (2013).
  • SR 117/SR 309 Safety Improvement
    A project to improve the safety of the State Route 117/State Route 309 corridor on the east side of Lima. The project began in March 2013 and will be completed in the fall of 2013.
  • I-75 and U.S. 224 Findlay Project
    An intersection reconstruction and bridge replacement project at I-75 and U.S. 224 in Findlay is scheduled for 2014
  • Hancock I-75 Widening and Reconstruction
    The widening and reconstruction of Interstate 75 through the city of Findlay from Harrison Street to County Road 99 in Hancock County

ODOT District 1 serves the northwestern Ohio counties of Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot. The district is charged with maintaining approximately 3,200 lane miles of state and federal highway, maintaining over 800 bridge structures and for planning new construction which enhances, improves or expands the transportation system within its eight-county area. The district is headquartered in Lima, Ohio, Allen County.
