REMINDER
Shepherd Lane bridge full closure scheduled
Hamilton County (Friday,
Feb. 22, 2019) - The Shepherd Lane bridge over Interstate 75 will
be closed WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27 until approximately JULY, 2020.
The bridge will be closed 200 feet to the east and west of I-75 for demolition
and construction of a new bridge. The ramps to Shepherd Lane will remain open.
West Shepherd Lane
traffic will use north I-75 to Glendale Milford Road to south I-75 to Shepherd
Lane.
East Shepherd Lane
traffic will use south I-75 to Galbraith Avenue to north I-75 to Shepherd Lane.
In order to prepare for
the bridge closure, the ramp from Shepherd Lane to north I-75 will be closed
from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 until 2 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28. Traffic will
use south I-75 to Galbraith to north I-75 to Shepherd for the detour.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is
dependent on the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
