Aerial crossing over State Route 48 requires full closure

Aerial crossing over State Route 48 requires full closure

Warren County (Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013) – Utility work will require lane closures and one short-term closure on State Route 48 next week.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30, lanes will be restricted from 12:01 to 5 a.m. for utility work on SR 48, approximately 800 feet north of East Turtlecreek-Union Road. During that timeframe, both directions of SR 48 will be closed for approximately 15 minutes to permit a work crew to pull an aerial cable across the roadway.

Law enforcement officers will be used for traffic control.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming full closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
