Closures on State Route 32 at I-275 slated
Clermont County (Monday, Sept. 23, 2013) – Ongoing work to improve the Interstate 275/State Route 32 interchange will require various lane closures on SR 32 next week.
To accommodate work on the Eastgate Boulevard Bridge, lane closures will be in place on eastbound SR 32 beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 and continuing to Tuesday, Oct. 1. Beginning at 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, eastbound SR 32 will be closed from Old SR 74 to Gleneste Withamsville Road until 6 a.m. the following day. Access to I-275 from eastbound SR 32 will be maintained, but there will be no access to eastbound SR 32 beyond I-275.
In addition, both ramps from I-275 to eastbound SR 32 will be closed from10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to the westbound SR 32 ramps to Old SR 74 to Gleneste Withamsville Road.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2 and Thursday, Oct. 3, single lane closures will be in place on westbound SR 32 at the Eastgate Boulvard Bridge. Beginning at 10 p.m. both days, westbound SR 32 will be closed from Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74 until 6 a.m. the following day. Access to I-275 will be maintained by way of Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74. The ramp from North Access Road to SR 32 will also be closed with traffic detoured to Gleneste Withamsville Road to Old SR 74 to access westbound SR 32.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures.
