We'd like for your questions and comments to be directed to the most suitable location.  Please take a look at the ODOT Help Center first to find answers for frequently asked questions and locate the best place to address your concerns.  

ODOT's primary responsibility is planning, building, and maintaining the "State System"​, which includes all Interstates (except the Ohio Turnpike), as well as U.S. and State Route highways outside of municipalities. ​If your comment or concern is on the turnpike or a local or municipal roadway (including U.S. & SR inside corporation limits)​, you should first try to contact the specific agency (turnpike, county, city/village, or township) with jurisdiction for that location.

  If you're having trouble finding information you believe should be on ODOT's site, it's very likely not available here because another agency is responsible.  ​
Please keep in mind that there are common misconceptions about many services and programs that ARE NOT ODOT's direct responsibility, including US DOT vehicle inspections​​ and commercial driver related matters, driver's license information, vehicle registration and enforcement questions. Checking out the ODOT Help Center first for more suggestions and links for direct assistance for those concerns before sending your feedback.

Please use the Report a Roadway Defect or Damage Incident and Court of Claims Information Page if you want to report a pothole or other roadway problem and/or have had damage to your vehicle on a 'State System' roadway (please see the definition of 'State System' roadway listed above ).​
