Replacement of the Fourth St. and Reservoir Rd. bridges over I-75 is the first of three projects which will reconstruct I-75 from the Auglaize County line to just north of SR 81 through Allen County and the city of Lima. Rehabilitation of the Anthony Wayne Bridge (SR 2) bridge over the Maumee River. Intermittent lane restrictions will be possible on the structure this year. SR 2 between Broadway St. and Clark St. will be closed for approximately 19 months. Date will be announced. This closure will be announced. Widen and reconstruct surface of the I-475 bridge over the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90). Overnight and weekend lane restrictions are possible on I-475 at the Ohio Turnpike and on Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) at I-475. Two lanes will be maintained during peak travel times.
Lane restrictions at the intersection of Corey & Whiteford roads and Sylvania Ave. for turn lane and signal installation. Expect a traffic shift on the ramp from eastbound I-475 to Corey Rd. for signal and turn lane installation. Expect traffic shifts on westbound I-475 from Woodley Rd. to Talmadge Rd. and on the ramp from westbound I-475 to Talmadge Rd. for ramp improvement.
Full-depth replacement of asphalt, including repairs to the concrete base, from SR 57 to the Summit County line. New drainage, guardrails, signing and striping. Cable median barrier will be installed from I-71 to the Summit County line. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout construction. During construction of the ramp improvements at SR 57 and SR 94, traffic traveling west will transition to the eastbound side of I-76 (using crossovers), with one lane of traffic in each direction traveling in the eastbound lanes.
Three projects on I-71 will add a third lane in each direction to the only two-lane section of roadway between Columbus and Cleveland. The first project, from SR 95 to the Richland County line, began last year and is expected to be complete this fall. Project 2, from just north of U.S. 36 to north of SR 61, began in March of this year and Project 3, from SR 61 to SR 95, will begin in April. Projects 2 and 3 are expected to be complete in 2015. Replacement of twin bridges on I-90 in Lorain County over the Black River and Ford Rd. The project includes bridge widening to maintain two lanes and paving Ford Rd. from the project limits to Gulf Rd. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Lane width will be 11 feet.
Railroad grade separation project on SR 58, just north of SR 18, in the village of Wellington. The project will construct an underpass at the CSX railroad tracks on a new roadway alignment. Short-duration detours will be necessary throughout construction.
Reconstruction of I-90 from the Pennsylvania state line to just east of SR 193, approximately six miles of pavement. During this project, two lanes of traffic will be maintained on I-90 east and west. Project also includes six bridge reconstructions.
Pavement replacement on I-271 from Broadview Rd. to the Ohio Turnpike. Project also includes repairs to nine bridges along I-271. A minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction during peak traffic times. The ramp from I-271 northbound to I-77 northbound will be closed for 90 days.
Reconstruction of I-90 from just east of Clay St. to the Penn Central railroad. This project also includes bridge replacements and modifications to the I-90/SR 11 interchange. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on I-90 during peak traffic times. Various side streets will be closed during the project.
Resurfacing of I-77 from the Tuscarawas County line to the southern Canton corporation limit. Project also includes bridge repairs to ten structures. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction of I-77 during peak traffic hours. Dueber Ave. will be closed for 75 days.
Resurfacing and bridge replacement project along I-80 from SR 193 to Mt. Everett Rd. This project will include the widening and re-decking of the I-80 bridges over Logan Way and Sampson Rd. Traffic will be maintained on I-80.
Bridge replacement and road widening as part of interchange upgrade. The eastbound entrance and exit ramp closures will occur on alternating ramps for a maximum of 19 days, weather permitting. Short duration closures will occur on I-70 during specific project activities. SR 158 traffic will be maintained at all times. Resurfacing of I-70 in the area of the interchange will be performed at night with one lane maintained in each direction at all times.
Bridge rehabilitation work will be performed at three separate locations on I-70 (Blacklick Trail, SR 256 and Palmer Road). Closure dates and detour information will be communicated by message boards and media releases.
Resurfacing and associated work on the section of I-70 extending from the SR 513 interchange to the Belmont County line. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. through 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday, for the duration of the project. Work requiring a lane closure will be performed outside of those hours.
Replace and widen existing structures on I-70 over Canal Rd., located two miles west of the SR 79 interchange. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times, with the exception of intermittent lane restrictions. Canal Rd. will be closed for 30 days beginning in mid-March. The Park Trail, beneath the structures will be closed for a total of 10 weeks.

Replace bridge, just west of the village of Gratiot. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times.
Reconstruction of the I-71/670 interchange began in 2011. This $200 million project includes 22 bridges, 38 retaining walls and the first-ever cultural wall in the State of Ohio. All travel lanes are expected to open this fall, however, final completion for the project is in the fall of 2014.

Widen U.S. 23 from four to six lanes between I-270 and Lazelle Road. The project will also reconfigure two ramps at the I-270/US 23 interchange and construct two northbound express lanes on U.S. 23 called “the trench” because they will travel below the surface of the road.
Widen I-270 from two to four lanes between I-71 and U.S. 23 on the south side of Franklin County. Two lanes of I-270 will be maintained in each direction with one-lane closures during overnight hours.

SR 185 (Jackson St.) in Versailles will be realigned between Catalpa Dr. and SR 47 (Greenlawn Ave.). This will create a new intersection at SR 185 and SR 47. The proposed work will include a new three lane roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalk and utility relocation work. Motorists will encounter temporary road closures at each end of the new realignment on SR 185.
SR 794 will be realigned between Peacock Rd. and Sparrow Rd. (between U.S. 69 and SR 72) in Springfield. This area is adjacent to the Ohio Air National Guard and Army National Guard facilities. Motorists will encounter temporary road closures at each end of the new realignment of SR 794.
Replacement of the two Jeremiah Morrow spans over the Little Miami River. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions.

Removal of existing Waldvogel Memorial Viaduct, including four ramps to Elberon and Warsaw Avenues. Replacement of structures for the four ramps to Elberon and Warsaw and replacement of structures for the connection to the Sixth Street Expressway. Removal and replacement of roadways for the required portions of River Road, Elberon Avenue, Warsaw Avenue, State Avenue, Evans Street and Maryland Avenue. One lane of traffic maintained in each direction.
Improve approximately one mile of I-71 by adding a northbound auxiliary lane between Pfeiffer Rd. and I-275, and add dual left turn lanes on Pfeiffer Rd. Traffic will be maintained.
Reconstruction and improvement of the I-75/Hopple St. (exit 3) interchange. Four lanes of traffic will be maintained in both directions.
The “Spaghetti Bowl” project is the bridge rehabilitation and resurfacing of U.S. 52 between the SR 239 interchange and the Scioto River bridges at the Portsmouth corporation limit. The $12 million project includes the rehabilitation of 14 bridges and resurfacing approximately 12 lane miles in a design-build format. It will be phased out over two construction seasons, with the majority of bridge work being completed this year and resurfacing in the next.
The Nelsonville Bypass is a more than $150 million project consisting of 8.5 miles of new four lane highway of U.S. 33 near Nelsonville, Ohio. Motorists traveling through the eastside of Nelsonville on U.S. 33 may encounter short term lane closures with traffic being maintained by a flagger. Construction crews will be finalizing bridge work and paving of the eastside of the bypass.

The reconstruction of U.S. 33 and SR 664 intersection includes the state’s first-ever double roundabout interchange. Motorists traveling through the U.S. 33 and SR 664 interchange in Hocking County will encounter possible lane closures on US 33. Although two lanes of traffic will be maintained on SR 664 during the duration of the project, motorists can expect traffic pattern changes. Crews work to construct a new Innerbelt Bridge – the first of two – which will eventually carry westbound traffic. Multiple lane and ramp closures are expected. The existing I-90 bridge will remain open; however motorists are advised to Opt for the Alternate and use I-490 and I-77 to avoid the construction zone. The new westbound bridge is expected to be open to traffic during the fall of 2013 at which time it will carry traffic in both directions while the existing bridge is demolished and the new eastbound bridge is constructed.
