The Ohio Department of Transportation oversees building and maintaining the nation’s 5th largest interstate system and the 2nd largest number of bridges. We take pride in providing safe and efficient roadways for the people of Ohio and to the people traveling within our great state.The Department has Central Office in Columbus, 12 regional District Offices, and facilities in all 88 of Ohio's counties.

Our Progressive Partnerships & Initiatives

The Second Chance Apprentice Program- ODOT partners with the Ohio Correctionsal Institutions and focuses on individuals due to be released, and provide them with opportunities for a pathway to full-time stable employment with ODOT.

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities- Empowering Ohioans with disabilities through employment, providing employers with guidance and assistance in hiring and retaining Ohio workers with disabilities through accessibility services such as vocational rehabilitation and training

Veteran Program- ODOT supports the employment of veterans in the agency workforce.  We value the commitment, work ethic and experience veterans bring to the job, as well as their specialized skills and talents.
