Bridge Work Calls for Lane Closure on Interstate 70
Preble County
(Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010) – Maintenance repair work to the eastbound Interstate 70 bridge over Gettysburg Road (mile marker 5) will require closure of the right lane from 5 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1. This work was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
