Preble County (Tuesday, May 15, 2018) - Norfolk Southern will be
performing railroad crossing work that requires a full closure of U.S. Route 35
approximately 1.5 miles north of U.S. Route 127 beginning on Monday, May 21 at
8 a.m. The closure is expected to reopen by 12 noon on Saturday, May 26.
The detour will use US
127, US 40 and State Route 320.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the upcoming
work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
