I-275 Lane Closures Scheduled This Weekend
HAMILTON COUNTY (Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012) – Bridge work will require a lane closure in both directions of Interstate 275 between Kellogg Avenue and Five Mile Road this weekend.
The lane closures will be in place from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 to 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 for work operations over Markley Road.
The work is part of a project to perform deck overlays, parapet modifications and approach slab work on three I-275 bridges. In addition, pavement sensor work will require a lane closure on Interstate 275 at Kellogg Avenue. The right lane of southbound I-275 will be closed from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
