I-275/SR 32 circle ramp reopens this weekend
Clermont County (Friday, Aug. 7, 2015) – Work
progresses on the Interstate 275/SR 32 interchange with the reopening of the
circle ramp from eastbound SR 32 to northbound I-275 this weekend.
With this opening, the left turn from
eastbound SR 32 to the temporary ramp at the signal on the east side will be
eliminated, and the signal retimed and reduced from three phases to two. This
will improve traffic flow for SR 32 through the east signal. I-275 will return
to its three-lane configuration, but will have a right lane closure for bridge
painting operations, which should take approximately seven days. Upon
completion, the lane will be open permanently.
In order to complete the traffic switch,
beginning at 10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 7, I-275 will be reduced to one lane of
traffic with traffic directed
off I-275 at SR 32, across the light at the bottom of the ramp back onto I-275.
A law enforcement officer will be present to direct traffic. Traffic will be
returned to I-275 and the circle ramp will open to traffic Saturday, Aug. 8.
