As part of a
two-year project to resurface 5.5 miles of Interstate 675 in Greene
County, the ramp from southbound I-675 to North Fairfield Road will be closed
for paving operations from 7 p.m. Friday, June 27 to 6 a.m. Saturday, June 28.
The
suggested detour is southbound I-675 to Grange Hall Road (exit 16) to Pentagon
Park Blvd. to North Fairfield Road.
The
ramps from southbound I-675 to Dayton-Yellow Springs Road will be closed
Sunday, June 29 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, June 30. The recommended detour
is I-675 to the North Fairfield exit to northbound I-675 to Dayton-Yellow
Springs Road. Also, the ramp from Dayton-Yellow Springs to southbound I-675
will be closed at this time; the recommended detour is northbound I-675
to the SR 235 exit to southbound I-675. The right lane of southbound I-675 will
also be closed during this time frame.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming lane closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
