Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (July 14, 2017) - Various nightly lane closures on northbound
I-71 between McMillan and Dana beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 16 until 6 a.m.
the following day, through Thursday, July 20.
Also, single lane
closures on north and southbound Gilbert Avenue between Lincoln and Blair
beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 16 until 6 a.m. the following day, through
Saturday, July 22.
Single lane closures on
east and westbound MLK Drive between Mentor and Harvey beginning at 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 16 until 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 22.
Single lane closures on
north and southbound Reading Road between Lincoln and Whittier beginning at 7
p.m. Sunday, July 16 until 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 22.
In addition, various
lane closures on southbound I-71 between Dana and McMillan, beginning at 7 p.m.
Friday, July 21 until 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 22.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
