Hamilton County (Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013) - As work continues on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, the following lane closures will be in place:
Thursday, Aug. 22: The right lane of northbound I-75 at Hopple Street interchange will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Saturday, Aug. 24: Rolling lane closures will be in place on north and southbound I-75 from 12:01 to 5 a.m. using local law enforcement for traffic control. Also, the ramp from Hopple Street to southbound I-75 will be closedfrom 2 to 5 a.m.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
