I-75/Hopple construction update
 
Hamilton County (Thursday, June 23, 2016) – Work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following restrictions this weekend.
 
Friday, June 24: Lane closures on northbound I-75 from south of the Western Hills Viaduct to the I-74 split beginning one hour after the Cincinnati Reds game until 6 a.m. Saturday, June 25. Also, lane closures on southbound I-75 from north of the I-74 split to the Western Hills Viaduct from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. In addition, rolling closures on north and southbound I-75 from midnight until 5 a.m. with law enforcement officers maintaining traffic.
 
Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26: Close the Connector Road (behind White Castle from Central Parkway to Hopple Street) at 10 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Sunday, June 26. Central Parkway will also be closed from south of the Connector Road to north of Bates Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Sunday. The detour for these closures will be Colerain Avenue via Marshall Avenue and Monmouth Street.
 
In addition, Clifton Colony Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday and access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents who live within the Central Parkway closure south of the Connector Road and to White Castle.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
