I-75/Hopple Street project update

Interstate 75/Hopple construction update

Hamilton County (Monday, Aug. 8 2016) – Work on the Interstate75/Hopple Street project requires the following closures beginning Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Beginning at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, northbound I-75 will have a single lane closure from just south of Hopple Street to just south of I-74 until 5 a.m.

Traffic entering northbound I-75 from the Western Hills Viaduct and Bank Street will be detoured to the Hopple Street exit and follow the posted detour.

The detour will use Hopple Street, Connector Road, Central Parkway and the northbound I-75 on ramp.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure and detour.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
