I-75/Hopple
construction update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, March 16, 2016) – Work
to replace concrete barrier wall in the I-75/Hopple Street work zone will
require a double left lane closure on southbound I-75 beginning at 11:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 17.
The closure, which will include the contra-flow and left local
lanes, will be in place from north of the I-75/I-74 interchange. At
approximately 4 a.m. Friday, March 18, a right lane closure will be in place on
southbound I-75 just south of Hopple.
On Thursday, March 17, a right lane closure will be in place on
both north and southbound Central Parkway at the Connector Road, beginning at 9
a.m. The right turn lane from the Connector Road to northbound Central Parkway
will also be closed at this time to accommodate traffic signal work.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
