Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge Work Project
Update
Traffic Switch Scheduled
Hamilton County (Friday,
Aug. 9, 2019) - The Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge work project
requires the following restrictions next week for a traffic switch for the next
phase of this project. Once complete, traffic going into Ohio from Kentucky
will use the inside (median) lanes while work takes place on the outside (far
right) lanes. The contraflow lane will remain in the same pattern.
- Left lane closure on west I-275 from Four Mile Road to
the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 11.
- Left lane closure on west I-275 from Four Mile Road to
the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge daily from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 12 through Sunday, Aug. 18.
- Various lane closures on Kellogg Avenue at the I-275
overpasses daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
- Double left lane closure on west I-275 from Four Mile
Road to the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge to Four Mile Road
nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day, Monday through Sunday.
In addition, the ramp from I-275 to U.S. 52/West Kellogg Avenue and the
ramp from Kellogg Avenue to Kentucky will be closed nightly from 9 p.m.
until 6 a.m. the following day.
Closures will not take place until two
hours after completion of any Riverbend events.
The following restrictions remain in
place for trucks:
- 10’ wide
- 75’ overall length
- Weight restriction of 120,000 lbs.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert
motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the
weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone.
