Interstate 71 repaving project update
Hamilton County (Friday, April 27, 2018) - The following lane and ramp
restrictions are scheduled on the Interstate 71 repaving project traffic.
Please also note the bridge clearance reduction.
Continuous left lane
closure on south I-71 from Reading Road to the Lytle Tunnel nightly from 8 p.m.
until 6 a.m. the following day, Friday, April 27 through Monday morning, April
30.
Single lane closures on
Williams Avenue between Edwards and Smith roads daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
the following day, Monday, April 30 through Friday, May 4.
Various lane closures
on south I-71 between Reading Road and the Lytle Tunnel nightly from 8 p.m.
until 6 a.m. the following day, Monday, April 30 through Saturday morning, May
5.
Single lane closures on Reading Road between McMillan and Liberty
streets nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 am. the following day, Monday, April 30
through Saturday morning, May 5.
THE RAMP FROM NORTH
I-71 TO WEST SR 562 HAS A REDUCED BRIDGE CLEARANCE OF 14 FEET. THIS REDUCTION
WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY, JUNE 30.
Traffic will be
maintained and all work is contingent upon weather.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
