**ADDITIONAL CLOSURE INFORMATION**
Interstate 71/Lytle Tunnel project update
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017) - Work in the Interstate 71
Lytle Tunnel requires the following I-71/Lytle Tunnel full closure and lane
closure tonight:
Close northbound I-71 at the I-71/75 split, at Ohio exit No. 1,
from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29. All traffic will be diverted to
northbound I-75 and detoured across eastbound SR 562 to I-71. In addition,
along eastbound Fort Washington Way (I-71/U.S. 50), there will be no access
into the Tunnel; U.S. 50 will remain open.
Also, the right lane of
northbound I-71 and the Fifth Street and Second Street on-ramps to northbound
I-71 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday. Traffic will be
detoured using Main Street to Fifth Street to Sentinel Street to Eggleston
Avenue to Reedy Street to Court Street to Gilbert Avenue to I-71.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
