Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (Thursday, March 29, 2018) - Bridge work
requires various lane and ramp closures next week.
Lane closures on east
and west Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive between Gilbert Avenue and Reading Road
nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday, April 2 through Wednesday morning,
April 4. Traffic will be maintained.
Also, work on the
southbound I-71 ramp to Taft Road requires closing the ramp nightly from 10
p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday, April 4.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of
the upcoming lane and ramp closures. All work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
