Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project update
Hamilton County (Friday, Aug. 25, 2017) - Various nightly lane and
shoulder closures on north and southbound I-75 from just south of Shepherd
Avenue to just north of Glendale-Milford Road beginning at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
the following day, Monday, Aug. 28 through Saturday, Sept. 30. In addition,
shoulder closures will be in effect within these lane closures each day from 9
a.m. until 3 p.m.
Intermittent daily lane
closures on east and westbound Glendale-Milford Road over Interstate 75
beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 through Saturday, Sept.
30.
Aerial crossing work
will require 15 minute short-term full closures on north and southbound I-75
between Wyoming Avenue and south of Shepherd Avenue (Lockland Split), between
12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 1. Traffic will
be maintained with law enforcement officers.
In addition, southbound
I-75 and the southbound collector lane widths are reduced and traffic is
shifted to the west (right) side of the interstate through Saturday, Sept.
30. This shift was originally scheduled through Aug. 31.
The ongoing reduced
lane widths and traffic shift to the south side of Shepherd Avenue are now
extended through Sunday, Oct. 1.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of
the upcoming work zone and restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
