Hamilton County (Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013) - As work continues on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, the following lane closures will be in place:
Thursday, Aug. 22: Close the right lane of northbound I-75 at Hopple Street interchange from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Saturday, Aug. 24: Rolling lane closures on north and southbound I-75 from 12:01 to 5 a.m. using local law enforcement for traffic control. Also, close the ramp from Hopple Street to southbound I-75 from 2 to 5 a.m.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
