Interstate 75/I-74 Major Reconstruction Project
Update
Hamilton County (Friday,
September 20, 2019) - The Interstate 75/I-74 Major
Reconstruction project requires the following restrictions tonight and tomorrow
for a bridge deck pour:
Friday, September 20 - Single lane closure on the ramp from north I-75 to west
I-74 from two hours after completion of the Cincinnati Reds game until 7 a.m.
Saturday, September 21.
- Single lane closure on east
I-74 from Montana Avenue to I-75 from 8 p.m Friday until 2 p.m. Saturday.
- Close the ramp from east I-74
to Beekman Street from 10 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.
- Close the ramp from Beekman
Street to east I-74 from 10 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.
- Close south Beekman Street
between Colerain Avenue and Elmore Street from 10 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m.
Saturday.
- Short-term full closures on
I-74 and I-75 within the construction zone between midnight and 4 a.m.
Saturday. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will
alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon
the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
