Pavement work
requires various lane and full closures
Warren
County (Monday,
Oct. 19, 2015) –
Pavement work will require lane closures on Interstate 71, as well as full
closures on Mason-Montgomery and Field Ertel roads this week.
A full closure of
Mason-Montgomery Road will be in place beginning at 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19 and
Tuesday, Oct. 20. In addition, lane closures will be in place on the exit
ramp from northbound I-71 to Mason-Montgomery Road. All lanes will be open to
traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
A full closure of Fields-Ertel Road will be in place
beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23.
In addition, lane closures will be in place in the right lane and shoulder of
southbound I-71, beginning at 7 p.m. with all lanes open to traffic by 7 a.m.
the following day.
Traffic
will be detoured to Escort Drive during the full closures.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of
the upcoming lane and full closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
