Red Bank Expressway lane closures through the end of April

Red Bank Expressway lane closures scheduled

Hamilton County (Thursday, April 6, 2017)Duke Energy crews are removing existing utility poles and installing new poles and street lights as part of the utility relocation for the Duck Creek Road Project.

Utility relocation work requires closing the right lane of southbound Red Bank Expressway between the Interstate 71 exit ramps and Duck Creek Road daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lane closures should not impact traffic on I-71 but may slow traffic on the ramps from I-71 to Red Bank. Traffic exiting I-71 at Exit 9 to Red Bank should watch for slow or stopped traffic on the exit ramp.

Various lane closures and work are scheduled to continue through April.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
