State Route 28 to close for bridge work

County (Tuesday,
May 26, 2015) – Bridge work will require a full
closure of State Route 28 beginning Monday, June 1.
SR 28 will be closed just west of SR
132 for 75 days. The detour for westbound SR 28 traffic is right on Dick Flynn
Boulevard to left on Main Street (old SR 28) to SR 28. Eastbound SR 28 traffic
will use the same detour in reverse.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in
place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone.
