State Route 32 construction scheduled to
start Monday, August 20
Clermont
County (Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018) - Construction on State Route 32 will begin
on Monday, August 20. The $9.5 million project, which is Phase 3 of the
Eastern Corridor Segment IVa, includes:
- Resurfacing and widening
1.74 miles of east SR 32 from Gleneste-Withamsville Road to Olive
Branch-Stonelick Road;
- Constructing a third
through lane on east SR 32 from Gleneste-Withamsville Road to Olive
Branch-Stonelick Road;
- Resurfacing and pavement
repairs on SR 32 between Interstate 275 and the eastern Batavia
corporate limits; and
- Upgrading traffic signals
and drainage systems.
The project was
awarded to Barrett Paving Materials, Inc., and is scheduled to be complete
in fall, 2019.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
