Victory
Parkway and Reading Road lane restrictions at Interstate 71/MLK begin June 15
Hamilton County (Friday,
June 12, 2015) –
Work on the new I-71/MLK interchange project requires 24-hour north and
southbound single lane closure on Victory Parkway for six weeks starting 7:30
a.m. on Monday, June 15. An additional lane on Victory Parkway north and
southbound will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday June 15 through
Friday June 19.
Utility work will
require additional restriction as follows:
Intersection of
MLK & Reading
·
Reading Road will be limited to one
through lane and one left turn lane in each direction. This work will be
taking place 24 hours a day from June 15 through July 3.
Reading Road
from Lincoln to Whittier
·
Utility work on Reading Road north
and south MLK has reduced Reading to one lane in each direction with left
turn lanes from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. through August 8.
Lincoln Road
between Reading and Stanton
·
Lincoln Road will be one lane in
each direction with left turn lanes from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. from July 6 through
July 31.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
