The District headquarters are located in Garfield Heights, with maintenance facilities and seasonal outposts throughout the three county area. The District is responsible for maintaining Interstate Routes and State and U.S. Routes outside of incorporated areas including snow and ice removal, pothole patching, mowing, litter pick-up, lighting, traffic signals, traffic incident management, bridge inspection, etc. Maintenance agreements with local municipalities allow District 12 to maintain the entire Interstate system within Cuyahoga County.
