Bridge work requires lane and ramp closures
Sunday and Monday nights
Hamilton County (Friday, April 28, 2017) – Bridge maintenance requires the following various lane and ramp closures
Double left lane closure on southbound I-75 from Hopple Street to the Liberty Street/Ezzard Charles Drive/Freeman Avenue exits, from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 30 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 2. The exit ramps will remain open and traffic will be maintained.
Also, a double right lane closure on southbound I-75 from Hopple Street to the Liberty Street/Ezzard Charles Drive/Freeman Avenue exits, from 9 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 2. The on ramp from Western Hills Viaduct to southbound I-75 and the off ramp from southbound I-75 to Western Avenue will be closed during this time.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane and ramp closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
