Clifton Avenue closures scheduled for I-75/Mitchell work
Hamilton County (Friday, June 1, 2012) – To accommodate bridge removal operations as part of the Interstate75/Mitchell Avenue interchange reconstruction, lane restrictions will be in place on Clifton Avenue under Interstate 75 the week of June 4.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. However, four 15-minute closures will be scheduled on Clifton between the hours of 6 p.m. and 4 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6 to pull beams.
Lane closures are not scheduled for I-75 the week of June 4.
All work is weather permitting.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
