Butler County (Wednesday, June 3, 2015) – Culvert replacement will require closing SR 122 for five days.
Beginning Monday, June 8, SR 122 will be closed between State Route 744 (Oxford Middletown Road) and State Route 725 in Preble County. The detour for northbound SR 122 traffic will be west on SR 744 to north on SR 503 to east on SR 725 to SR 122. Southbound SR 122 traffic will use the reverse detour. The detour is an additional 3.8 miles or approximately five minutes. The road will be reopen Friday, June 12.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
