SR 748 closed for culvert work
Butler County (Monday, Aug. 13, 2012) – Work to replace a culvert will require closure of State Route 748 between SR 129 and SR 126 next week.
The work will take place between Monday, Aug. 20 and Thursday, Aug. 23 on SR 748, approximately one mile north of its intersection with SR 126. Northbound traffic will be detoured to west on SR 126 to east on SR 129. Southbound traffic will use the reverse route.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
