Full closure of northbound Red Bank Expressway
at Duck Creek Road scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, July 27, 2017) - Water main work requires
closing the northbound Red Bank Expressway at Duck Creek Road beginning at 9
p.m. Friday, Aug. 4. This closure will eliminate access to Interstate 71 from
Red Bank Road until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, when the closure will be lifted.
In addition, there will
be a single left lane closure on southbound Red Bank Expressway between I-71
and Madison Avenue.
The detour will use
Duck Creek Road to Kennedy Avenue to access north and southbound I-71. To
bypass area, southbound Red Bank can exit I-71 at Ridge Avenue to Duck Creek or
Stewart Avenue to Madison Road.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
