Full
closures of southbound I-75 scheduled
Hamilton County (Friday, Dec. 18, 2015) – Full closures of southbound Interstate 75
at State Route 562 are scheduled to accommodate bridge work.
The full closures will begin at 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 and Saturday, Dec. 19, reopening by 5
a.m. the next day.
Traffic will be detoured to westbound I-275 to
eastbound I-74 to southbound I-75. The southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound SR 562
will remain open. All work is weather dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming full closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
