Short-Term Closure of Interstate 71 near MLK Blvd.
Hamilton County (Friday,
Sept. 18, 2015) – Utility work requires a short-term
closure of I-71 northbound and southbound just north of Martin Luther King Blvd.
on Sunday Sept. 20.
Two 15-minute full
closures will occur between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
Law enforcement officers
will be used for traffic control.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and traffic
restrictions.
All work is weather
permitting.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
