Hamilton-Mason Road Closed for Superstreet Construction Work

(Friday, April 1, 2011) – Hamilton-Mason Road will be closed from State Route 4 Bypass to just east of Iron Kettle Drive between April 1 and Aug. 1 as part of the Superstreet Intersection project. The following detour will be in place:
Westbound Hamilton-Mason Road traffic will be detoured north by either Morris Road, Liberty Fairfield Road, or SR 747 (Princeton Glendale Road) to Princeton Road. Traffic will proceed west on Princeton Road to SR 4B. Traffic will go south on SR 4B to access Hamilton-Mason Road west of SR 4B.
Eastbound Hamilton-Mason Road traffic will be detoured south on SR 4B to Tylersville Road. Traffic will proceed east on Tylersville Road to Princeton Glendale Road (SR 747). Traffic will go north on SR 747 (Princeton Glendale Road) to Hamilton-Mason Road.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure and detour.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
