I-275 Lane Closures Scheduled This Weekend
HAMILTON COUNTY (Friday, Sept. 7, 2012) – Bridge work will require a lane closure in both directions of Interstate 275 between Kellogg Avenue and Five Mile Road this weekend.
The right lane closures will be in place from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 for work operations over Markley Road.
Work will also require closure of the ramp from westbound U.S. 52 to eastbound I-275 from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. During that time frame, eastbound I-275 will have a right lane closure over Birney Lane.
The work is part of a project to perform deck overlays, parapet modifications and approach slab work on three I-275 bridges.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
