I-275 Lane Closure Scheduled This Weekend
HAMILTON COUNTY (Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012) – Bridge work will require a lane closure of southbound Interstate 275 between Five Mile Road and U.S. 52 this weekend.
One lane of traffic will be maintained from 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12 for work operations over Birney Road.
The work is part of a project to perform deck overlays, parapet modifications and approach slab work on three I-275 bridges.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
