I-275 lane closures scheduled for pavement work

Hamilton County (Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015) – Pavement operations will require various lane closures on Interstate 275 between Winton and Blue Rock roads this week.

Nightly lane closures will be in place on westbound I-275 Wednesday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 14, beginning at 6 p.m. each night, with all lanes reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.

In addition, the ramp from Winton Road to westbound I-275 will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. On Thursday, Aug. 13, the ramp from northbound Hamilton Avenue to westbound I-275 will be closed from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14.

In addition, lane closures will be in place on westbound I-275 between Hamilton Avenue and I-74, beginning at 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 16 with all lanes reopening to traffic by 6 a.m.  Monday, Aug. 17.

All work is weather dependent. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lanes closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
