REMINDER - TONIGHT
I-71 Repaving project update
Hamilton County - (Friday,
Sept 15, 2017) The ramp from Ridge Road to southbound
Interstate 71 and the ramp from Alamo Avenue to southbound I-71 will be closed
beginning Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. and ending Sept. 18 at 5 a.m. The detour
route will be posted.
In addition, there will
be various lane closures on southbound I-71 from Ridge Rd. to Oak
Street beginning Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. and ending Sept. 18 at 6
a.m. This will include reducing southbound I-71 to one lane between 10 p.m. and
5 a.m. in this location. Motorist should expect significant backups and are
advised to seek alternative routes.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
