Interstate
71 lane closures scheduled
Warren County (Monday,
Sept. 21, 2015) – Construction work on Interstate 71 at the
Mason-Montgomery/Fields Ertel exit will require the following closures this
week:
Various lane closures will be in place on southbound
I-71 each night this week beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, reopening by 6
a.m. the next day.
In addition, the left lane of southbound I-71 will be
closed from 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 through 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 for bridge
work. Traffic delays will be significant, and motorists are advised to watch
for slow and stopped traffic. Work is weather permitting.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
and lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone.
